This is my first posting for the Designer Spotlight Challenge.... featuring Vicki Stegall! She has some amazing things to choose from!!

I used 100% of her designs. The papers came from the Michael kit. I used the lightest one to blend to the photo and then the green polka dotted one I clipped to a brush stroke and then used the eraser to blend it, then the brown as a side accent. I also used her new splatz! These are sooo fun!!

I wanted to capture her own handwriting at this age so for the journaling I had my daughter write out why she was excited to go into 6th grade on a transparency and then I scanned it into my computer and made it into a .png file to put on my page.

**Edited** I don't always follow directions..LOL. Forgot to add the metal element and the frame..DOH! I used some of the staples from the Michael element kit on the title and then added the circle framing my daughters profile, outlined in the stitching I think it's done now..hee hee!
