I grew up with PEONIES in the backyard in huge bushes - full of fragrant flowers and tons of busy ants. I only get them once a year where I live now - it's too warm to grow these and too pricey to buy them regularly. But I have very fond memories of these big, hearty, sweet-smelling flowers.
