Unconditional love is so rare in this world. It is hard for many people to accept and give unconditional love because of our own personal fears -- fear of judgement, of loss or regret. This verse reminds me that there is no room for fear in love. Fear cripples us and love gives us hope, strength and inspiration. I am still working at allowing myself to be loved unconditionally -- this can be a scary thing. I need to remember that well formed love has the ability to banish this fear. I pray that God will continue to fully form my life in love.
