Since this cutie is 16 and over 6' 5" tall, my house decorated for Christmas, I've decided I'm so far behind I've caught up with myself and I'm still behind.
The technique I used, I extracted the monkey from his photo and then took him out of his blue bumpee chair. The pumpkin was an element from the kit. I removed the stem and hollowed out the eyes so his arms fit. After filling the pumpkin in with a couple more layers, I applied a large bevel and adjusted the blending and lighting to give it a smooth round pumpkin effect. Last thing I added was a larger shadow to give it all a more dimensional effect.

Journaling reads: Your first Halloween, October 31st, 2009. You were the cutest organ grinder’s monkey ever! Your mom’s silly Auntie Cheryl made the costume for you. She did such an AHH-mazing job!

Wow, Jeanne, this is just too adorable. Thanks for letting us know how you managed to get him into a pumpkin, too. :giggle4: I love it! Congratulations on being recognized as a Gallery Standout. It sure is.

What an adorable and happy page! And yes too cute to spook! Great job with that pumpkin! Thanks so much for playing!

Nope, that pumpkin was an element, I did learn something about playing with bevels, hopefully I'll remember. Here's the original photo and that's after I fixed the massive red eye
