I took a moment to look at my first three layouts. Chris said savor them. See them. Feel them. What did you like. Well, I picked the things that made me smile the most and I noticed the over all theme of them was the savor the little things. The every day. So I took a few elements from each LO and put them together. Everything is done in "overlay" mode so its soft and fading and the background paper is 75% opacity. The words and feelings are bold, but the memories fade. Savor the everyday.
Thank you Chris. I'm glad the serenity came through, that's what the soft blues said to me. While its been 14 years (how is it that long ago?) since I lost my dad, he's been on my mind and its the every day moments that I miss. The smile, the laugh, the corny comment. Savor really made me think about those moments and how we need to savor them. They're gone so fast, those moments.

I am so happy that you were able to take the time and enjoy the work you put into your prior pages. I hope that the memories take you to a place where you can enjoy and yes, savor them as well. xoxo
Oh my goodness, Tracy this is fabulous and what a brilliant idea for your wek 4!!! I haven't a clue what I'm gong to do for week 4 so my hat is off to you. This is a wow page ~ well done!!!
Tracy, wonderful layout; my eye caught the background elements that you used to show time then and how fast time goes! I lost my Mom going on 14 years this coming February and I will always miss her. I know how you feel.

Awwww Thank you Cheryl. All I did was follow Chris's idea of look back and savor the first three weeks. I stopped, looked, and this is what stood out. The holidays being near and thinking of my dad, fil, and grandparents all being gone probably helped this page to create itself.

Thank you Char. That is exactly what I wanted this to say, how fast time goes. In March it will be 15 years since I watched my dad leave this world and step into Jesus embrace. I have NO idea how it can be that long already. I'm thankful for photos, so I can at least look at them, but it also reminds me to slow down and be in the moment. I hope you have photos and memories you pull out often and savor those moments. Even though I know they still bring tears.
