When my husband and I were first dating, we often visited a state park near us. Parts of it were wooded and other parts they were letting return to a natural (managed) meadow. We loved seeing all the dried seed pods and frosty flowers, like this one. I've been feeling very nostalgic lately, missing that park and our walks there.
The tag says "love" over a repeated line that says "seasons change, but love stays beautifully constant." I repeat that line in my own journaling, "I miss our walks in the meadow together, watching how all the wild things changed. Seasons change, but love stays beautifully constant."
I started with my photo and played with the photo masks until I found one I liked. Then I played with the background papers and ended up using one that I rotated counterclockwise and flipped vertically. Then I used a cracked overlay to give it more texture. There's also an overlay underneath the photo and mask. I took a tag and overlaid some word art to make it look stamped. Then I arranged greenery, berries, pine needles, branches, and a brooch as the final details.
