There's small journaling on the page. It talks about mutual friends who had tried to fix us up. I said "no" that I was not interested. Chuck took it upon himself to come over and introduce himself. We made a dinner date for the next night and the rest is history. What prompted him to take that risk? Probably because he trusted our mutual friends and knew they wouldn't steer him wrong. I know they told him I'd said no, but the risk was worth it to him to boldly walk up to my front door and ring my doorbell. This has become one of our favorite stories and these mutual friends stood up with us when we got married a few months later. The picture is AI generated from pictures of us from that time period.
