(Journaling written in May)
The past week has been a whirlwind—a bit too much, really. I felt it in every part of me: restless nights, a racing heartbeat, muscle aches, high stress levels... My body screaming for attention while my mind just kept pushing forward. Complete overdrive.
It’s easy to fall into that cycle, isn’t it? One thing leads to another, and before you know it, you're caught in a loop of doing, rushing, achieving—forgetting to simply be. But our bodies have their way of catching up with us. They are our best warning systems when life spins out of control. And mine had been waving red flags all week long.
So, it's time to slow down. Restore. Breathe.
I’m taking this weekend to recalibrate, to listen to what my body is asking for: rest, nourishment, and stillness. I’m adjusting my supplements, prioritizing sleep, and setting boundaries for myself—not just physically, but mentally too. No more overloading my plate just because I feel I should be doing more. Sometimes, less is exactly what we need.
It’s a conscious choice to step back and reset, but it’s necessary. I’ve been here before; I know the signs. This time, I’m listening. Here’s to a weekend of restoration—to soft moments, deep breaths, and the quiet promise that sometimes, the best way forward is simply to pause.
Because we all deserve the grace to restore.
