I am someone who dives into history a lot, have read many war stories and seen documentaries. I cannot but cannot imagine what they went through. Deep respect for them !

I love the green edge, the photo's you made a beautiful heritage page !

Anne Marie your layout is so special and so beautifully done. Your photos are precious and I like how you kept the focus on them and your Dad. Your blending is soft and pretty the the vines really give the page definition. So hard to believe those men went to war when so young, my Dad was 18.
CONGRATULATIONS on being a Gallery Standout. That's where I saw it right now. :beatingheart:

This is such a wonderul tribute page Anne=Marie. You're so lucky that your dad came home from the war. Like you said, you wouldn't be here. This is just so moving and beautiful! Thanks, so much, for sharing this work of art with us.

Amazing page Anne-Marie! I am thrilled you still have this photo of your Dad, and you scrapped this so well.. I love the blended photo into the background of his platoon and then his solo photo in the corner with the journaling as if he is doing the speaking. Your added foliage on the edges to mimic the jungle foliage is perfect. Congrats too on the standing O.. your page is fabulous!

Thank you Christa for your lovely comment. thankfully I had scanned those photos as they were lost 3 years ago when our home was flooded.

:) I am glad you scanned it prior to the flood.. that was what I was noting when I said I was thrilled you had it as I know you lost a lot of photos in that awful flood in Australia. Hugs my friend!
