All my photos from Athens had scaffolding all around the monuments. They were getting read for the Olympics, so I used this gorgeous photo from Pixabay. I have a really special affection for Athens. She was also the emblem and patroness of the United States Women's Army Corps. I was privileged to be a WAC. The WAC was decommissioned in 1978 and we transitioned to the regular Army.
