Ooooooh-I have been to Ft. Myers Beach so many times (but not the last years). It always was a loooong trip with our children from here in Germany, but we loved it so much!

I am not sure...but I think this pier is alo gone from the hurricane and has to be rebuilt?

Yes, Susanne, Ft. Myers Beach was badly devastated during Hurricane Ian. We lived in S. Ft. Myers (very near the beach) for many years, and I actually took this photo in 2015. This pier is indeed iconic and I'm so thankful to have this wonderful photo of it.
