Oh Tracy, wow, wow, wow. Your words are so graphic I feel them and your pain at missing him. I love that you used the torn edge to separate your page and that it's burned in parts. Your sketch and thoughts of the plow are so heartfelt and loving and your blending is so soft and beatiful.
Congratulations on a Gallery Standout too!

Thank you Marilyn. Its so strange that this year has been hard with missing him. It probably has to do with loosing FIL in January bringing it all back. I loved the burned paper, feels like how some memories are going, burned away and I cant bring the back as easily. Thank you!
Oh, Tracy, I have goosebumps from this LO. Your journaling comes through so strongly and the artsy part of the page just seems to enhance all of that emotion ♥
Congrats on the GSO!!

I don't know how I missed this awesome page, Tracy. The journaling touches my heart, and I love the way you've divided the page, added the blends along with your photo, just all of it. Congrats on the GS. ♥

You know what, I think you are right about the burned paper, but I also saw it as "burned into your heart" and would always be there a part of you even as memories get further away.
