Nature walk was created using the kit Blue Autumn by Merkeley's Designs and the template is by Melanie Colosimo for the challenge.
Fonts used were Perpetua Titling MT and Arial.
Journaling reads: "On a beautiful July day in 2004, Samantha, Matthew, and I decided to go for a walk. We drove to Chicagon Lake and parked at the boat landing, then walked the nature trail that goes to the swimming and recreation area. It was a gorgeous day to do something like this. We explored the woods along the trail and Matthew collected the acorns and hemlock cones he found to bring home to show his mother. We spent a couple hours just listening to the birds in the trees around us, examining the wildflowers that were in bloom, laughing at the antics of the chipmunks and squirrels, and enjoying each others company. It's a day that I will hold close in my memories forever. My camera's batteries went dead after I took these two pictures so I couldn't document the entire walk, but I am so glad the picture of Matthew turned out so well."
