Journaling reads: It has been such a hot summer that there have been very few opportunities to ride the Goldwing. We have been trying to ride early in the day when the temperature is in the 70’s and the humidity has not yet reached its max for the day. This day we went to breakfast at the Wallburg Grill & Pizzeria, 3.1 miles away from the house. After breakfast we decided to take the back roads home since the temperature was still decent for us to ride. While out and about the storm clouds started gathering. You can see the big raindrops on my leg and on Mark’s back. We drove out of the shower in no time. Even I did not complain about the shower as we definitely needed the rain! We left at 9 a.m. and got back home at 10:50 a.m. and drove a total of 36 miles. We love to ride! Saturday, 8/3/24
So creative and eye-catching, Vicky! The small details make the layout so attractive. The story is less pleasant. Here in Germany the heat was more bearable this year. We also had a lot of rain in between. But for a motorcyclist, riding is only bearable if you don't have to stop at traffic lights!

AMEN to that! It is OK as long as you keep moving! Mark and I try to avoid going through cities but instead try to take all of the back roads. But sometimes it is unavoidable! Thank you for your sweet comments!
Gorgeous layout and composition!! I know what that is ... going on a ride with a beautiful sun and get back home shaking and completely wet, LoL it´s not fun, at all.
