I created this piece for the art journaling challenge, and it's definitely in a style that's quite different from what I'm used to. For me, art journals have always been more about text, with images that complement and support the words rather than stand alone. But somehow, I felt that this picture of me fit well with the text. Now I'm left wondering—does it still qualify as an art journal? I'm not so sure, but I'm excited to see how it evolves!
