Oh my - you are having a drought and here roads are still closed from when the flooding Mississippi River crested on Friday! The United States is might big and mighty different in all its climates! The way you used the newspaper is really neat, and then mixing it with the summer peaches! It really brings out a summer vibe.
I'm with @Celestine, it was dry but the weekend after we put in our drainage system, we have had downpours after downpours. We have had 15 inches of rain since July 4th. I love that you put the new article in it.
