Made for Jenns "Show me your happy birthday" challenge. I don't make that much photos on my birthday and I don't have any of the past. Inspired by the lay out from @[16831
tanteva] . I made a huge journaling.
I love the textwrap effect and it easy to do in Indesign. This is my first lay out completely made in Indesign.
"
Suddenly after watching my favorite series Black Beauty. Little did I know: I wanted to go horse riding. Suddenly I had turned into a horse girl. That was not as normal as it is now, but there was a lot to be found.
Mom and Dad looked at it with difficulty at first because horse riding was expensive, but in retrospect it turned out that when Grandma heard about it, she said something like "Let that child ride, I'll pay for it."
I could go driving. The riding school was also quickly found, the Wildhoef. These had a waiting list of one year. Moreover, Aunt Corrie claimed that it was a worthless riding school where you did not learn to ride properly. I only had to go to Noordland once, the riding school where she and her children (Annermarie and Fenneke) rode. They were nice girls with whom I got along well. Aunt Corrie had been our “After-school Care” for a while, so I already knew her. I always had a great time with Aunt Corrie. She had a car so it didn't matter that the riding school was all the way in 's Gravenzande. (12.6 km)
September 77 the time had come. The first time riding was fun, I had a nice seat, nice people. It tasted like more. I went with Aunt Corrie until mid-December. She was furious that Willem, the instructor she adored, was “suddenly” fired. It's all Bert de Groot's fault.
Not entirely, Willem was an alcoholic and had gotten drunk.
They left for Berenstein (but the audience was too vulgar according to her, she was positive about the fall breaking. She turned out to be a person who was not easily satisfied and left for another riding school. It wasn't too bad, but that's another story). I was attached to Noordland and the horses like Ginger, Gamorilla and many others. I came twice a week, on Wednesday and Saturday. At first my mother took me to the riding school as it was right on the bus line to Hoek van Holland.
I went there on and off for a few years but that's another story.
Not only is the horse riding expensive, the equipment was not cheap either. Fortunately, Dad worked at a purchasing group where he could buy things at purchase price. So also horse clothes.
On my 13th birthday I was completely happy. I received a beautiful competition outfit, white trousers, new riding boots, a black jacket and a plastron with pin. Finally competition ready!"
