For those who do not know, my family has been in shambles with my sister "leaving" the family due to my mother for the past 3 years and then my parent's recent divorce. 2024 has been a year of healing and after 3 years, my sister came back to the family. We had our family reunion yesterday. It was such a blessing!
Journaling "Dad wanted one thing for Father’s Day: a day spent with all of his children. Considering all this family has been through in the past 4 years, this is an amazing feat. I am so happy we are able to do this for him. We had to get a updated family photo since we had everyone in one spot. Kory had his annual Father’s Day Camp Out
at Cole’s Creek so we all met him out there for our family reunion. It was a hot day, but Kory had fans and shade to keep us cool. Chad and I took some of the kids swimming. We had a taco bar for dinner. It was such a wonderful day."
