Starlings Advice
Made for the Different Format challenge. I don't make A4 books because I don't like the dimensions. I love the (US) letter format.

I used that lovely art doll from @[37384:mad:Vicki Robinson] Express Youself Change. The page didn't really come to live until I used an old and dark photo with narcissus to blend into the background

I used that object selection tool to cut the starling from the background. I blended one into the background and applied some filter on the duplicate. (cut out, photocopy, color look up and Levels) and put it on her head.
I used my friend Google to discover the spiritual meaning of the starling and used that as short journaling.

The bold and artsy design catches the eye immediately and draws you in, while the great quote provides a powerful message that really resonates.

This is so beautifully put together and I love the artsy feel to it. I am playing the birthday game and you were the post before me, so I've just spent a while poring over your Gallery and enjoying every minute. I like how the figure stands out and is repeated to the side. Your background is amazing and so bold and full of color. I like Starling's advice, too!
