Created for Week 1 of the Oscraps Art Journaling Challenge for May.
Here is the journaling included on the layout:
Back in February I decided to do the 100 Day Challenge, which was to create some art each day. I decided that doing some physical art each day would be fun! The first few days were fun but then, I began falling behind in my projects and started to feel stressed out. I thought about stopping, but I didn’t want to that so after thinking about it I realised that while I was feeling stressed I was also enjoying myself and having a great time getting all messy with paint, glue and lots of papers! So I decided to keep going with the challenge but I gave myself some leeway in HOW I was going to create art each day, deciding that creating some digital art pages to intersperse throughout my art journal would be a great way of completing the challenge and still have fun in doing it. Bottom line is that I am glad I started this challenge as it has totally renewed my love of creating art, and it has stimulated me to try new things and rediscover what ignites my artful soul! - (written May 9 2024)
Photo is of a physical AJ page I created for the 100 Day Challenge I am participating in this year. I used various papers from magazines and scrapbooks papers to create it, sticking it all together with Matt medium, paints and gesso.
