Today we visit El Cotillo and we start our walk near the Torre del Toston also known as the castle of El Cotillo. The Torre has been declared a historical-artistic monument of cultural interest and is one of the main attractions in the city. The cylindrical stone construction with a flat roof dates from the early eighteenth century and has a striking appearance.
We walk past an impressive whale skeleton, a memorial to the many beached whales on Fuerteventura.
Further towards the new harbor there are many works of art: an interesting whale tail looking out of a building ...
