Journalling:
Teddy bears feature quite strongly in the show and B1 and B2 spend a lot of time trying to catch them unawares (especially coming down the stairs)!
My granddaughter was given a banana sandwich by my son. "Bananas in Pyjamas" has been a favourite TV show for kids in Australia (and banana sandwiches are pretty popular too).
I am sure that this was not what the directors of the show had in mind!
Many of these children would have had one of these stuffed toys. It may well still be fairly popular since it changed to a cartoon format but for those children that grew up with the “real thing” the new show would be but a pale imitation!
