Love that extraction..emphasizes those back in the day "tail-fins". My Grandma had a purplish one that had a stick shift and we would ride in it to pick my Grandpa up from work. Your layout surely brought back some memories for me. Looks like a lot of heart and work.

Flashy and absolutely fabulous! Love the red!
Thanks Laura, I've been calling it Cinnamon Pearl. Now I find it's named Brazilian something or other, but I'm not calling it that. When people ask, I can always say "I'd tell ya, but then I'd have to kill ya". It's pretty amazing how tight-lipped some of those car guys are about what color their car is. LOL!

Thanks Pam. I actually had to clone that fin tip from the other side, my husband had cut off about 2" of it. I've been giving him pointers. But I may have to go to the garage soon to get more shots. We had one of those purplish ones also growing up. After that, my dad was strictly a Dodge/Plymouth guy.

Amazing story of a beautiful car! I cannot imagine how much work this is! Fun extractions and I like the way the calendar is highlighted!

LOL have you ever listened to "Car Talk"? They had this thing going on where they would diagnose engine problems by the color of the car. Cars and their paint jobs exist in a parallel universe!

This is so cool Susie!! what a wonderful car, you did a wonderful job with this beautiful photos!
