Day 10 _Gift to the World.jpg

So many good wishes have gone out into the world, so much hope and profound words. I can only agree with this and would like to add 2 more gifts.

My first gift to the world is my deep love for Mother Nature! I would like to do whatever I can to help preserve its beauty for many future generations. My heart beats for the poor and oppressed, for children and animals and I help wherever I can. I use our resources carefully and don't waste anything. I wish our politicians around the world would understand that you can't eat territory, power and money. And that they use their power to provide every child with a home and an education and finally use their brains and don't bury people, but their weapons!

Merry Christmas to you all!
Stay healthy!

This song by a German songwriter and singer Herbert Grönemeyer fits my second gift. I hope the translation conveys the meaning clearly.

Children to power

Armies made of jelly bears
Tanks made of marzipan
Wars are all eaten up
Simple plan - childishly genious

There's no good, there's no evil
There's no black, there's no white
Teeth are lacking instead of opression
There's strawberry ice-cream
Always ready for a surprise

Give the command to the children
They don't calculate what they're doing
The world belongs into children's hands
An end to sadness
We'll be laughed in ground and soil
Children to power

They are the true anarchists
Loving chaos, setting free
Don't know any rights or duties
Still unbowed power in masses
Savage pride

Give the command to the children
They don't calculate what they're doing
The world belongs into children's hands
An end to sadness
We'll be laughed in ground and soil
Children to power

Su-Sanne, a beautiful sentiment on a delightful page bit unsure about the teeth lacking though;) but more power to the children, they will inherit the earth and we are leaving them a lot to heal.

What a beautiful and powerful page, Susanne. I love the stick figure children - they look like something a child would draw. Wonderful page! :hug4:

Oooo, I love this page. The figure children look so happy and I love how you care for mother Earth and how you help to preserve it for the children. Your journaling is wonderful and that song is beautiful.
Thank you so much for your gift to the world and for joining this challenge!
