I do my pages for my Project pretty much the same every time with a few exceptions.
I start with the template pages.in double-page format for 12 and 13.
I pick my photos and add them to the masks using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. Then I make any adjustments that I think should be made.
Then I add the papers over the background layer of each page.(Relative Solid 5 and Behold 5) Sometimes I add papers to the frames in the background. Next, I place the transfers on the page. (Behold Transfer 2, Snapshot Transfer 1, 6 and 12) Attached to the Mask layer of Frames that were behind.
The elements come next. Fotographie camera 1, Sojourn charm, Artsy Clock 4.2, Oscraps Barefoot arrow
Next, I write and enter the journal. Let me tell you the story of my BFF's. Brenda and I started playing in the schoolyard when we both discovered we loved hand puppets. Later I went to overnight camp and I met Sherry. Small world, that fall she transferred to Lafayette school and became friends with Brenda. What a surprise to tell Brenda that we already knew each other. Yvonne was transferred in later that year and became friends with Brenda and Sherry and then with me. I was a year ahead of them so it made the next couple of years rough to develop a friendship as I went first to junior high and then to senior high. But by the end of our time at High School, we had become a foursome. We haven't always been four. Sherry married Brenda's brother and later they were divorced. This caused Sherry to be left out of the group for years. But time passed and she later rejoined the group. Brenda had cancer and after a few years passed away. The focal photo is the final of the four of us.
The last to go on the page is the title. I use either a word cluster or create one. (Page 12 I worked with Holiday Wordart Cluster 2. Then Page 13 Lost Word Art Mix and Brimming Heart.}
You perfectly captured your dear friendships over the years. What a special joy these friendships must bring you. Love the photos from treasured days gone by.. And your coloring and balance is superb.
The "Then and Now" aspect of this page is spot on!!! I love how she kept the blended photos the group photo, and all the others really show the life long friendship! It was a perfect touch to put her friend who died in black and white and added the "not forgotten" - no one ever leaves our hearts, do they? This is just a perfect heritage page!!
