Dallas, 1964 - Silver Bells

Christmas, 1964, Dallas
It looks like we had a pretty good Christmas, with presents including a racetrack, a bicycle, a wagon, Lincoln Logs and a few other small gifts. If not for having these photos, I really don’t remember this. But I do remember sleeping in those hard, pink plastic curlers. This will probably be reconstructed for a page in my Project 2023 album.

I started with the Artsy Layered Template, clipped 2 copies of the large photo to the white paint and transfer layers with some masking on both layers with Artsy brushes. Other photos were clipped to the small, framed masks. Embellished with MultiMedia, elements from the palette, Christmas Nostalgia brushes in white, and word art with a layer styles from Anna’s Shapes, Styles Class, changing the Color Overlay to red, blend mode normal. Last I added the photo of me on the bicycle (I couldn’t leave that out), masked with a soft round brush, B&W adj. level and blend mode Luminosity.

Fabulous Christmas memories - what great photos! Love the diagonal flow! Sounds like a plentiful Christmas!

Those curlers! Yup. What we did. I like how this layout is "heritage," but with a modern twist. Nicely done!
