My parents are both 72 and have now been retired for a few years. At first, they just loved being at home and enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren and doing nothing in particular, but now that the kids have grown, they joined a senior travel club which organizes regular trips to nearby towns and villages. The trips are always slow-paced and tailored to seniors, and there is always a tour guide who tells them lots of interesting facts and local history.
