I experimented with Blend Modes after watching this week’s aA Inspired (Nov 6).

Gather in Peace Artsy Paper 4 was placed for the foundation. Artsy Transfer 3 was placed above the paper with 3 copies of my photo clipped/masked to three different layers, blending modes and/or color fill were applied. Transfer 1 (blend mode Color Burn) from the palette was placed between the paper and the grouped Artsy Transfer. Transfers/Overlays (blend mode Multiply), Art Stroke, elements, word art and Beaded Threadz from the palette were placed, along with Winter Branches 1-3, Painted Leaves 3-1 and ArchiTextures 1-3 (color fill, Blend Mode Color Burn). A fourth copy of the photo was placed at the top with everything masked out except the cardinal (blend mode Overlay) to brighten it. A Gradient Fill was placed above that, Soft Light blend mode, lowered opacity.
