Love what you remember.jpg

As I work my way through a box of heritage images,I am amazed that I don't know much about these people. But little by little the memories return. I notice that sometimes I think they resemble me in looks and their smiles bring a sense of calm to me. I wish that I knew a whole lot more, but maybe that is one of life's lessons to pass on to my children and their children.I am glad to have the images and will cherish what I do remember. In this image is my Grandmother's sister,Sadie.I know that they seemed very close and visited each other often. Sadie had five children, but I don't remember all their names. They lived in Lavonia, something my Grandmother passed on to me.In this image,I am reminded that they looked a lot alike and their taste in clothing seems similar.Their hair styles were very similar, too. Glad for a little peak into the past.
Another wonderful heritage page. When I cleaned out my mother's house I found a box of photos. Some of them were a hundred years old. One particularly beautiful portrait was intriguing. I kept thinking that the girl looked so much like my younger sister. We realized that this was my grandmother as a young child. Family genetics passed on.

I love the combination of all those sweet touches of color for this memory page!

The little touches of color throughout your layout are a nice highlight to your photo. Congrats on your GSO!

So beautifully done, love how the color accents your treasured photo. Yay on the GSO.
