1932. Two little boys sit in the dry grass and play with their dog. They are wearing aviator hats. I imagine those were a valued possession. They are my mother’s older brothers and my “uncles”, Edd and Harvey (HP). They were much older when I knew them, but they both remained quick to laugh and play.
