The blue heron moved slowly, so I also watched lots of other birds come and go. Just north of the little cove where the heron was fishing, there were at least five night herons, maybe many more in nests that we couldn't see at that distance. I also learned about hardstem bulrushes he was standing on.

Wonderful texture from the papers to echo the photos. Like the bits of greenish as accents. Night herons are so fun.
