Page 2, 2nd letter describes tent camp work, seeing countryside, his new assignment, and please send 50 cent pens.

I started with Project 2023 Travel Layered Template Album p-3, placing the layers on a double page layout. I clipped photos to the masks, placed Solid Papers for the backgrounds, clipped the transcribed letters plus a lighter color solid paper to the large fotoblendz on each page, added titles, journaling and embellishments.

This really is one of those designs that's just so cohesive as a spread. As I commented in the Travel Project 2023 group, that "smoke" going across the centerline really gets me. Beautiful work!

What a wonderful treasure you are preserving! I like this simple but effective layout (and I know this was work!). There's something so magical about reading old letters relating everyday details. Send pens - priceless!
