When I saw the sticker, I thought it would be interesting to do some research on the nursery rhyme Mary had a Little Lamb. Here is what I found:
Lyrics Sarah Hale (1788-1879) composer Lowel Mason around 1830.
The lyrics of the song were the first words ever recorded by a phonograph. The recording was made by Thomas Edison in his own voice around 1877.
Mary had a Little Lamb
Mary has a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb.
Mary had a little lamb its fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went
Mary went, Mary went
Everywhere that Mary went the lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day
school one day, school one day
It followed her to school one day, which was against the rule.
It made the children laugh and play
laugh and play, laugh and play.
It made the children laugh and play, to see a lamb at school.
