Do you ever ask the question, “Why?”
Do you ever say, “What’s the use?”
Do you ever get sick and tired of being sick and tired?
When I am feeling this way I have to remind myself that I am not alone in my distresses. The Lord has promised that He will never leave me or forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:8b). I believe that, even though this was a promise given to Joshua, it applies to me, too! Hebrews 13:5 says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” The next verse, Hebrews 13:6 says, “So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” I need to trust Psalm 55:22, “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” “And I know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
“I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
