Journaling reads: Abby’s brother and sister went to Tennessee for a week of Bible camp. Abby chose to stay with us for the week.
Monday, after Elisabeth took Hannah and Ryan to the church, she went back home to wake Abby up to get ready to come to our house. We went grocery shopping for her stay and played games all afternoon...board games and app games.
Tuesday, Ilene needed me to take her to a couple of doctor appointments. She treated us to lunch and afterwards we went back to her house and played Rummikub before coming back home. Tuesday evening we went to a meeting at Damascus Baptist in Statesville.
Wednesday, we played games and went to church in the evening.
Thursday, we played more games and watched TV.
Friday was more games and TV.
Saturday Abby got up earlier than usual, showered and packed her bags. She was ready to go home to her family! We stopped at Dollar General on the way to get breakfast. Mom and dad came out to welcome her home! I did not stay because I had laundry to do. What a grand week we had!
