Grandma turns 75 on this day in 1919, hence the photo with the whole family. My family has always loved photography. They wait motionless until the photographer is ready. I think they even hold their breath. Hilarious.
What a precious photo! And yes, I think you are right, they probably held their breath for the whole duration of the photoshoot. Everyone's looking so stern - people back then often did in photos... I like the little cottage blended into the background.
