Amidst the Grasses

We weren't sure why, but the yellow-headed blackbirds would let us get much closer during the blue hour when they were among the shrubs, than when they were out in full sun among the cattails. After so many visits to their habitat, I enjoyed seeing them in the low light amidst the greenery.

I love your cluster on the left reflecting the "grasses" where the bird rests. I have yet to see one of the yellow-headed blackbirds. Lucky you!

Congrats on your photo capture! I also like the bouquet of wildflowers you used to balance your photo and the word art.

Love the cluster. I've never seen a yellow headed black bird. Great capture.

Love the quote with the photo, but I love the left side more. Gorgeous cluster mixing the elements with brushes.

Your cluster is wonderful. Maybe they feel more invisible in the low light, though someone should talk to them about those wonderful, but very visible yellow heads. Beautiful pages!
