In which I go true Miami Vice-style to match the shirt I got my son for his birthday. This is the second spread in this year's family vacation album. The boys had booked an early tee time for our first full day on Cape Cod, and when they got back home they were wearing new club hats and declared that a first-day tee time was their new tradition for all upcoming family vacations.
In this album I am alternating a variety of template styles—including FotoInspired, since many of the photos do not lend themselves to blending. My struggle here originally was with the Blah Factor. The spread showed what I wanted...which is the boys playing golf and that Miami Vice golf shirt, and maybe it's because I don't relate to golf or because the game itself has a certain elegance, but my usual style, which can be somewhat rowdy, just did not apply. In any event, I made the best of it, using the Jazzed Up Loop Da Loops to play off the shirt and adding pops of yellow to pick up my SIL's bucket hat.
