Inspiration -The inspiration of course came from Monday when I attended the first live class of the newest Masterly Brushes. What a fun way to raise my creativity.
Start- File>New 12x12 300
Paper – Placed Artsy Paper 4 above the background layer and then added the Solid Paper 1 above with the blend mode set to Linear Burn.
Mask – Put Fotoblendz Overlay 10.2 at the top of the page and then duplicated and both copies grouped.
Photo – My photo was attached to the mask using Layer> Create Clipping Mask. And a Curves Adjustment layer was added to the photo by clipping on the Layer Adjustment icon and it was attached to the photo using Layer>Create Clipping Mask.
Transfers – Transfer 6 was laid on the bottom of the page and then a Solid Color Layer Adjustment was attached to the transfer using Layer>Create Clipping Mask and that layer was set to Linear Burn blending mode.
Title Cluster – Started with Foliage, added Blossom, and Ribbon. Then used the three words This Pretty Place. Added a drop shadow to all. Added a gradient Adjustment to the word Pretty and then on the mask used a paint plush to add marks to match the marks on the original. A word Transfer was placed under with a color burn Blending Mode.
Brush – The Artstroke was added under the title cluster.
Adjustment – I decided to add a stroke outline to the word pretty so I clicked on the thumbnail and clocked on Select Pixels. Added a new layer and using Edit>Stoke for the stroke on the word.
