I wanted to commemorate Ron's 80th birthday today AND use the NEW ArtPlay Palette Eunoia. I started with the Eunoia Artsy Layered Template, using it basically as is. I clipped the 4 small photos, desaturated, to each frame, then placed Eunoia transfers 2 (2x), 4 and 6, transformed and rotated to fit over top of the B&W photos with blending mode Color or Color Burn. I then added the large photo and clipped to the blue paint layer of the Artsy Layered Template. I added Solid Paper 4 below all this. Then embellished above with Eunoia Word Art Cluster 5 (BONUS), exchanging the words MAKE Change with MAKE Memories, Eunoia elements, glows and splatters. Finished with journaling.

He’s always said, “I think I’ll make it to at least 80.” And he did. So now we’ll be hoping he’ll see 90. It won’t surprise me at all. And he’s still out there, doing something every day to make our lives better, whether it’s cutting wood, working on a car or lawn mower, or building a house. Even if it’s only a few hours a day, we’ll take it. We celebrated by cutting wood, something we used to really enjoy, now it’s just another chore. We are a little behind getting next year’s wood cut, we’re usually done before April. So, we cut/split two trees yesterday and today. We used to cut wood all day. Now we’re lucky to get one tree down, cut and split, and we’re done for the day.
