My Dad - I know who I inherited my curls from Lol!
Journalling:
My Dad was never happier than when he was tinkering with cars. He spent many hours at his garage either with his head under the bonnet or lying underneath the car fixing whatever needed to be fixed. My Mum told me that he had really wanted to be a mechanic when he was a young man but his brother put a stop to any such thoughts. There was always traveller stigma attached to working for someone else, it was almost a cause of shame to not be self employed or working in the family business but that doesn’t explain why he was not allowed to participate in any training. My theory is that his brother was simply a jealous person and spiteful to boot; a theory evidenced by the crabbit old man his brother became, married to an equally crabbit old woman.

The foundation paper is Artplay Sayonara Solid Paper 4. On top I layered various bits and pieces from Artsy Transfers Sayonara. I wish I could give you more process but I just played around with many different layers shifting them around...then closed the file by mistake without saving anything and had to start again! In between the layers is a transfer from AP Jubilate 33% fill which is giving me that purple heather vibe and then another from AP Salute on top of the figure Overlay Mode 49% I just erased what I didn't want. Lastly added a twig and foliage.
