Process
Page 9 of the Project Template Album 8 was opened up. Some of the layers were turned off. A solid paper from APP Get Away was used as the foundation of the page. The image of my husband and me (processed in the iPhone app Snapseed) was clipped to the large fotoblendz mask. The smaller images were clipped to the frame masks. Transfers from the kit were added, duplicated, rotated. Splatters and a stain overlay from APP Sayonara were added. The chickens were extracted from a postcard that I bought in the Keys. The page was completed by adding dimensional embellishments (a color overlay was added to the flip flop charm) and word art.
What an adventure! I would have been beside myself with the traffic. I would rather drive an extra 100 miles than sit in traffic for hours. When the kids were little our rule used to (baring unforeseen circumstances) travel time could not add up to more than destination time. You've managed a page that makes the whole day "feel" okay. I like that about you!
Oh yeah, that's happened to me. It's worse than Cape Cod on a Saturday in August! But a great place to visit, so full of life. I still have my Pier House T-shirt, and remember the sunsets from behind the hotel so vividly. I like that you included the little map.
