See the Ducks, Scotty? - Portiere

This is us, me and three brothers, mid 60's. Started out as an homage to Adryane's current sibling project. But then I started adding stuff and couldn't stop.

I started with Portiere Solid Paper 6 and clipped my photo to FotoBlendz Overlay 11-2, rotated, then added Overlay 11-1, also rotated, blend mode Hard Light w/lowered opacity, with duplicate photo clipped to it. Below that I placed Portiere Overlay 4, then just the textures/paint etc layers of the Artsy Layered Template, flipped vertically, with some layers recolored/moved and some layers removed. Placed the Portiere BookPlate element (colorized) over focal point. Placed MultiMedia Suns 4-1, substituting a button for the starfish and added FotoGlow Mix 2-1 below it. Embellished with word art, beaded threadz and ButtonThreadz 6-11. Then placed the Sky Transfer 3-2, some layers removed and the rest recolored. I plan on adding a journaling box later.

I Love your layout! I especially like how the background continues the framed picture's story with the sun, the beach and the coordinating colors. I really like how you added the "stuff". That is me too. Keep adding and I find it hard to stop.

Did you say "adding stuff and couldn't stop"? High five to you! I relate! But somehow nothing looks forced or crowded. You've got a natural and interesting flow of visual stuff happening here. Beautiful work.

Yes, that was one of those serendipitous accidents, I didn't really notice until I posted. After I flipped the ALT layers, placed near the bottom and started recoloring, it just fit really well.

Yes, 3 brothers, and one more came along in 1969. He was supposed to be a little sister for me. But I always got my own room though!

Three brothers! That must have been a challenge, at times. Its beautiful. Great color! Love that you were inspired by the pages for my sister.
