Challenge #2: Eagle Fire Lodge

On Monday morning it snowed a little and by 7am there was half an inch. It was very gray so we stayed in and I took a photo of the big tree outside my window. Eagle Fire Lodge was a two-star, advertised as the best in town. There was no staff, no signs of their continental breakfast.

Nice tree! Is there a drop shadow?
Lodge sounds interesting and the combination of this page and Woodland Park makes me think I should finally tell the story of a trip to Oregon. Thank you :)

Yes a drop shadow. The trees were so flat and why not I thought. I wanted to brighten the snow on the branches but nothing seemed to work, so I went the other way. Have fun "going back" to Oregon. :D

Thanks. To be fair, it turns out they quit serving breakfast with COVID-19 and just never brought it back. They were surprised the papers still had it listed .

How in the world did it get advertised as the best in town??? Maybe the scenery! Love that tree in the snow-covered background! Beautiful 2-pager!
