Journaling reads: Spring break of the 3rd grade, April 1964, dad decided to go on vacation to California since he enjoyed being out there when he was in the Army. He said if he found a job we would stay. He did and we did. It was the longest 10 months of our lives! We had moved 3 times in that time. We were all homesick! In February 1965 we packed our bags and headed back to our beloved Indiana! Adios, Amigos!
I blended a paper on top of the US map using the Soft Light blend mode. This toned down the dark blue of the map allowing the other elements to be seen easier.
