This is my 2 & 3 pages to my Travel Project 2022 Album. I re-did this one on suggestions from Anna.
Text Reads: We both got new cameras in 2021 and were anxious to try them out. The weather wasn't nice enough for a long trip somewhere, so we took every nice day we could and went to our local areas, like Lake Washington.
We heard about a rare Tundra Swan from Siberia in Monroe, WA., so went went out there to see if we could find it. Sure enough, there was a crowd of birdwatchers and photographers on the side of the road all watching the one Tundra Swan in among the Trumper swans.
The most fantastic display of birds that took our breath away, was a flock of snow geese as they took flight. I was so in awe, that moment is embedded in my memory for life. Next winter we shall be going back to Edison, WA, to look for them again.
Construction: I combined the Scenic Template Album No. 6 #6 & #7 with the Travel Template Album No. 6 #2 frames. ArtPlay Incandescence Solid Paper #5 was used for the background. I merged the fotoblendz of Scenic Template Album No. 6 page #6 & #7. I then clipped my sunset photo to the left part of the fotoblendz. I clipped the swan photo to the right side of the fotoblendz. I used brushes to erase portions of the fotoblendz.
I preserved the yellow colored beak on the Tundra Swan photo, changed photo to Black and white and blended with Hard Light. It was duplicated with a blending mode of Soft Light. ArtPlay Palette Embers Transfer1, Copper Paint and Artsy paper 1 & 3, were placed under the photo.
I clipped my other bird photos to the frames of Travel Template Album No. 6 #2, and moved positions.
For the cluster, I used MultiMedia Branches No. 17 #4. . I added ArtPlay Palette Lost’s String and Remember WordART Mix No. 3 Wood Word ” see”. The text is Baskerville Old Face.
