I can't express my love for my dad enough. Layering various elements that he may have used in his lifetime is just a drop in that bucket.

Construction: For the background, I started with ArtPlay Palette Strom Artsy Paper #1 and added Transfers #1 & #2 on top (locations the same as the Artsy Paper) to which I changed the color to a navy blue. I then added ArtPlay Palette Strom Solid Paper #1, with a blend mode of Multiply, and the Distressed Edge Overlays No. 8 #5, with a blend mode of Hard Light.
I used Strom FotoBlendz No 1 #1 and clipped my photo to the fotoblendz layer.
I layered the ArtPlay Palette Metro Graffiti Chicken Wire and MultiMedia Documents No. 10 #1, #2 & #3, turning off some layers and moving some elements. Then I added several elements from Vicki Robinson’s My Man Bundle (King Card, Brads and Journal Card).
I created the word art using font Didot.
