The red flag winds were worrisome but at Jasper's it was very comfortable out taking photos of birds when it was 89 degrees. We were happy we found an alternative to Lordsburg's mediocre restaurant that we'll make a habit, and we'll remember being a few feet from a curled up rattlesnake.

What a lovely page! Look at all those red gems!! I just adore that Red Cardinal and all of the other wonderful red bits and pieces on your double pager! Not sure I would have liked knowing about the rattlesnake being so close though.
