Beautifully Simple

Inspiration – I wanted to try a technique I heard on one of the current online sessions with Anne. So I downloaded a lovely flower picture and gave it a try.

Start – With a new file – File>New 12x12 300

Paper- placed Solid Paper 3 on top of the background layer

Photo – used a flower picture for Pixbay by Gerhard Romero

Mask – Placed Prismatic fotoblendz 1.2 on the page and attached the photo to the mask layer and made a copy to attach to all the other layers. Used Layer>Create clipping mask to attach each photo to its layers. Then I played with blend modes. I turned off one layer because it an a hard edge I didn’t like. The placed Fotoblendz overlay 11.4 under the the Prismatic mask and attached the same copy to the photo to it.

Transfers – put Transfer 3 in the upper right corner and the doily transfer at the lower left hand edge of the photo/mask. I adjusted both color (Ctrl u) and opacity of Tranfer3.

Brushes – Brushes 1 and 2 on the page in the purplish color from the transfer 3.

Element Cluster – Started with the gray ribbon, added the butterfly but used Ctrl U to change the color, placed the scallop tag over the butterfly but select the Butterfly pixels and the clicking on the scallop tag layer erased the sting so I looks like the strings are under the color layer, lastly added the pink flower from APP Inkling on top of the ribbon duplicated it and rotated the duplicate.

Words – used Axiom WA Beautifully Simple for the title.
