Journaling reads: The Jewish community celebrates Passover at the same time as I celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Passover is the celebration of the Jews being rescued from slavery in Egypt. Resurrection (Easter) reminds me of the resurrection of flowers and trees, etc. after winter's grave. And I love seeing the resurrection of these delicate flowers every year! A celebration of renewed life! That is what I will celebrate this Easter.....my new life in Jesus Christ.
